Analytics & Data Science Lead

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Analytics & Data Science Lead** to join our team in **Doral, FL** .

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Leading the design, development, and deployment of advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to solve complex operational challenges.

+ Overseeing data science projects across the entire life cycle, including requirement gathering, data extraction, feature engineering, model training, and performance monitoring.

+ Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex data insights into strategic, data-driven decisions.

+ Establishing best practices for data governance, model validation, and reproducible analytic workflows across all data environments.

+ Managing individual analytic tasks and mentoring team members to ensure technical delivery aligns with customer objectives.

+ Recommending and implementing process improvements, automated pipelines, and emerging data science technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in advanced analytics or data science roles.

+ OR a PhD and 3+ or more years of relevant experience

+ OR a master’s degree and 5+ or more years of relevant experience

+ OR an associate’s degree and 9+ or more years of relevant experience

+ OR a high school diploma and 11+ or more years of relevant experience

+ Demonstrated proficiency with standard data analysis tools, languages, and frameworks such as Python, R, and SQL.

+ Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation, analytical findings, and executive presentations to stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline.

+ Prior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise data environments.

+ Hands-on knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.

+ Experience with MLOps frameworks, DevSecOps pipelines, and deploying AI/ML models into production environments.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must hold a current/active Secret security clearance.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
