**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Microsoft Analytics opening for our client in Dallas, TX.**

**Location:** Dallas, TX

**Duration:** 6 months

**Duties:**

+ Install, configure, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces

+ Ensure platform remains current with security, compliance, and patching best practices

+ Monitor and manage cluster performance, resource utilization, and platform costs

+ Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues to ensure optimal performance

+ Implement and manage access controls and security policies to safeguard sensitive data

+ Utilize Unity Catalog to manage schema data, including creation, configuration, external storage setup, and permission management

+ Manage and configure AWS resources related to Databricks, including networking components

+ Support Power BI platform and assist in report deployment, performance tuning, and integration with other systems

**Skills:**

+ Strong proficiency in administering Microsoft Power BI and Databricks platforms

+ Expertise in Databricks architecture, Unity Catalog, and AWS-based resource management

+ Knowledge of access management, security configuration, and compliance within cloud environments

+ Familiarity with data visualization best practices and Power BI report optimization

+ Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and configuration issues in analytics environments

**Experience:**

+ 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI and Databricks platform administration

+ Proven track record in managing cloud-based analytics platforms and enterprise data systems

+ Experience in managing security and compliance in cloud environments (preferably AWS)

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
