As a key member of our Sensing Systems team, you'll design, develop, and launch the next generation of Touch ID sensors, integral to the security and seamless user experience of Apple's iconic products. You'll bring devices to life, enabling them to understand and respond to their users in ways previously unimagined!

**Description**

Join the Touch ID team and play a pivotal role in developing ground breaking fingerprint biometric sensors. You'll be responsible for the entire sensor development lifecycle, from schematic capture and module design to validation and integration across the supply chain. Your expertise in analog and digital circuit design, PCB design, signal integrity, and electrical failure analysis will be crucial in defining technical strategies and driving innovation.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced electrical engineer with a strong foundation in analog fundamentals and a proven track record of taking electrical designs into mass production. You're a collaborative teammate with excellent communication skills and a drive to push the boundaries of what's possible.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.

+ Strong EE analog fundamentals with demonstrated experience in all phases of circuit design and development.

+ Experience leading technical teams and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Experience in design, characterization, validation of sensing systems and creating engineering design, requirement, and specification documents.

+ Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscope, meters, etc.), circuit simulation (SPICE) and proficiency in MATLAB and Python scripting tools.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Cadence experience a plus.

+ Experience with statistical analysis of production data (JMP, Tableau).

+ Experience in FEA, simulation, and modeling tools (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell).

+ Experience with high-volume mass production.

**Pay & Benefits**

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
