**Summary**
At Apple, the Camera Semiconductor Technologies team is responsible for the research and development of semiconductor solutions across multiple platforms, from CMOS image sensors for the cameras, to lasers for the Face ID and LiDAR Scanners modules. We are looking for an experienced Test Architect to spearhead our efforts in test strategies and solutions, to meet Apple’s high standards for performance, reliability, safety and cost.
**Description**
As a Semiconductor Test Architect, you will be responsible for defining scalable hardware test solutions, to support a wide range of semiconductor technologies going into Apple’s product lines, from iPhone, Mac, Watch to Vision.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience in the engineering field.
+ Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: lasers, LEDs, optics, photodiodes, or camera sensors.
+ Experience with one or more of the following optical metrology equipment: power meters, optical spectrum analyzers, spectrometers, oscilloscope or cameras.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ M.S. or Ph.D. in Materials, Physics, Mechanical, Computer or Electrical Engineering.
+ 10+ years
+ Experience with wafer industries or other high volume mass production facilities.
+ Experience with one or more of the following test hardware: wafer-level handler, probe cards, ATE (Automated Test Equipment), or motorized stages.
+ Demonstrated capability to collaborate cross-functionally with teammates and partners.
+ Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
+ Critical thinking and trouble shooting skills.
+ Ability to self-motivate, adapt, and innovate.
