Imagine yourself in our processor design effort, collaborating with design teams and providing technology support, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly. In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of process technology problem solving, providing design enablement for display and mixed signal products. The primary focus of this position is collaborating with internal design teams and semiconductor foundries. This is a hands-on, dynamic role requiring limited travel to foundries and development sites.
• Work closely with display product and chip design teams to enable chip development, tape out, debug and release.
• Work closely with foundries on silicon process and product issues.
• Manage & evaluate foundry deliverables (PDK documentation, LVS, DRM/DRC, Spice models and tech files) and drive improvements with foundry.
• Participate in technology development, device engineering for next generation process technologies.
• Assess device usage cases to ensure product reliability (safe-operating-area evaluation).
• Manage and mitigate technology risks for multiple projects in parallel.
• Build crucial internal and external connections at suppliers and within Apple.
