The Model Operations team provides crucial partnership to connect the AIML team with the many feature teams across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, visionOS and services.

+ 3-5+ years experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager, ideally supporting ML/AI or model-focused teams

+ Prior experience leading and shipping complex, cross-functional technical projects and quickly picking up new technologies

+ Hands on experience with software development practices and/or the machine learning model lifecycle (training, evaluation, deployment)

+ Strong technical understanding of on-device and server model infrastructure, and how models integrate into product features

+ Experience working with large language models, foundation models, or other generative AI systems

+ Familiarity with on-device and server-side deployment constraints (memory, latency, compute) for ML models

+ Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style across research engineers, infrastructure teams, and feature team leads

+ Proven track record in defining processes and executing on them in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

+ Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

+ Deeply curious about how models work and how they get built into product features, with a passion for connecting technical capability to real user impact

+ Excellent attention to detail and highly organized, able to track many concurrent workstreams across multiple teams

+ Comfortable engaging with technical concepts related to machine learning models, model infrastructure, and APIs
