**Description**

As a Machine Safety Engineer, you will have a broad range of responsibilities aimed at advancing health and safety across our global supply chain. Applying data-driven insights and championing risk management programs, you will develop and implement initiatives that emphasize early assessment and mitigation of hazards associated with emerging technologies and new manufacturing processes.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, occupational safety, or a related field.

+ 7+ years of engineering experience in advanced manufacturing technologies, customer equipment design, machine safety, supply chain automation or a related field.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data driven approach to technical, process of equipment engineering.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the proven ability to influence engineering teams and external suppliers without direct authority.

+ Experience directly working with cross-functional teams including and working on project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

+ Strong working knowledge of international machine safety and risk assessment standards (e.g. ISO 12100, ISO 13849, ANSI B11, IEC 61508 etc).

+ Experience with supply chain automation, robotics, or design for safety.

+ Certification in functional safety, industrial hygiene, and/or hazardous materials management.

+ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10-20% of the time)
