As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. **Position Type: Part Time**
**Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour**

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a utilities location.
+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
+ Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
+ Support site operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing required reports, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures throughout the shift.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
