Pre Analytics Lab Supervisor - Extended Care Phlebotomy

**A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am-5:00pm.**

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

+ Oversee the Pre-Analytic laboratory or Call Center operations for one or multiple sites.

+ Responsible for all employment related activities, budgets, fiscal performance and adherence to quality and safety guidelines.

+ Supervise and develop a high performing, customer-oriented team.

+ Provide leadership and support staff to perform quality work as outlined by department and Cleveland Clinic policies.

+ Review and ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and quality of work.

+ Ensure proper staffing levels, workflow and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

+ Conduct competency assessments and performance appraisals and maintain appropriate documentation.

+ Review/approve department schedules, paid time off and leave requests.

+ Coordinate hiring, orientation, scheduling, and staff development including continuing education initiatives.

+ Assist with policy and procedure development; ensures compliance.

+ Identify and implement opportunities to improve procedures, processes, speed, quality, and effectiveness.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience

+ 4 years of relative experience

+ OR High School Diploma/GED, 6 years of supervisory or leadership experience, and 4 years of relative experience

+ OR Associate's Degree, 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience, and 4 years of relative experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ Phlebotomy Leadership & commercial lab experience

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.

+ Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds

+ Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

+ Requires dexterity sufficient to operate a computer.

+ May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, biohazards, radioactive materials, etc.

+ Must be able to travel to various Cleveland Clinic sites as needed.

**Personal Protective Equipment:**

+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

+ Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

+ Requires dexterity sufficient to operate a computer.

+ May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, biohazards, radioactive materials, etc.

+ Must be able to travel to various Cleveland Clinic sites as needed.

**Pay Range**

Minimum Annual Salary: $69,600.00

Maximum Annual Salary: $106,132.50
