**Senior Payroll Technician**

**Position Summary**

The Senior Payroll Technician performs advanced payroll functions and serves as a subject matter expert within the payroll team. This role is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle pay runs, ensuring accurate pay and deduction calculations, troubleshooting complex payroll issues, and providing guidance and support across payroll operations.

**Key Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience required.

+ Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, deductions, and payroll compliance.

+ Experience researching and resolving complex payroll discrepancies.

+ Ability to work independently while supporting team members and internal customers.

**Education & Certification Requirements**

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.

+ **Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)** or **Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)** credential must be obtained **within 18 months of hire.**

**Location & Schedule**

+ BayCare System Office – Clearwater, FL

+ Full-Time

+ Non-Exempt

+ Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ Hybrid work arrangement

+ No weekends or on-call responsibilities
