**Position Description:** **RN**
**The Clinical Nurse II responsibilities include:**
+ Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinicalstandards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
+ Responsible forprofessional accountability and development.
+ Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
+ SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance andsupervision to a child.

**Requirements:**
**Certifications and Licensures:**
+ BLS (Basic Life Support)
+ RN (Registered Nurse)
+ ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
+ Preferred Nurse Specialty
**Education:**
+ Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
+ Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
**Experience:**
+ Required experience includes 1 year RN Acute Care experience
+ OR 6 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
**Location:** **Morton Plant Hospital**
**Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: No**
**Shift Hours:** **7:00am - 7:00pm**
**Weekend Work:** **Every Other**
**On Call:**
