**Role Overview**
As a **Medical Assistant or LPN** , you will support clinical operations by assisting providers and delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient workflows within the practice.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
+ Obtaining patient histories and preparing patients for visits
+ Performing routine lab procedures and preparing specimens for transport to the lab
+ Following up on test orders and communicating results to providers and patients
+ Maintaining patient education materials
+ Maintaining medical equipment and clinical supplies
+ Creating and updating patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR)
+ Ensuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations
+ Performing other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
**Education**
**Required:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
**Preferred:**
+ Completion of a Medical Assistant program or related technical training
**Experience**
**Preferred:**
+ Medical Assistant experience
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
**Licensure / Certification**
**Required:**
+ Approved Medical Assistant Certification within six (6) months of hire **OR** proof of active license/certification as one of the following:
+ EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)
+ NREMT (Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician)
+ Paramedic
+ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
**Additional Preference:**
