**Location:** Clearwater

**Status:** Full Time, Exempt: No

**Shift Hours:** 6:45 am- 7:15 pm

**Weekend Work:** **Every Other**

**On Call:** No

**How often will this team member be working remotely?** Never

**Responsibilities - LPN - Inpatient:**

+ Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.

+ SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

**Education:**

+ HS Graduate or Equivalent GED.

+ Technical Program Completion or Degree in Practical Nurse Program.

+ OR applicants who have successfully completed the Practical Nurse Equivalency (PNEQ).

**Required Experience:**

+ 6 months Acute Care as a Patient Care Technician, Practical Nurse Apprentice, or Practical Nurse Intern (or a combination of time within these 3 roles).

+ Or 6 months Acute Care as an LPN.

+ Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.

**Required Certifications and Licensure:**

+ BLS (Basic Life Support).

+ LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - State of Florida.

+ Preferred - ACLS (Cardiovascular) - Unit Specific.

+ Successful completion of the 30-hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however, this is not required for SIPP.
