**Morton Plant Hospital** , part of the **BayCare Health System** , is seeking a compassionate and skilled **PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)** to join our acute care rehabilitation team. This role provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to adult patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders resulting from stroke, neurological conditions, trauma, or other medical complexities.

**Acute Care Speech Therapist Pool Responsibilities:**

+ Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing impairments in an acute care setting.

+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.

+ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care.

+ Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

+ Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.

+ Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning.

**Requirements:**

+ CCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathology)

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ Speech Therapy License

+ Required Master's Speech Therapy
