Job Function Construction Manager

**Job Title:** Construction Director

**Status of Hire:** full-time, direct hire, salaried exempt plus bonus

**Location:** Clarksville, TN

**Industry:** industrial complex processing facility construction, greenfield, mining/metals,

**Relocation:** full relocation available

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Provide site-wide leadership and team visibility required for the multi-billion dollar project execution.

+ Provide leadership support when engaging with government officials and/or stakeholders (If required).

+ Provide direction and strategy to execution teams to achieve safety, schedule and cost goals.

+ Provide Safety leadership across all contractors and employees on site.

+ Establish and maintain a positive relationship with the client and with General Contractors leadership.

+ Manage Field Representatives and Project Managers.

+ Provide monthly executive-type reports on progress, cost and risks

+ Lead senior level execution meetings discussing, schedule, cost, resources and risks.

+ Provide constant visibility on schedule, cost and risk forecasting.

**Education and Experience:**

+ Proven minimum 20+ years of experience in Construction Management in heavy industrial environment and/or Minimum 10+ years of Senior Leadership position (Construction/Project Director, GM) in a multi-billion dollar heavy industrial projects.

+ Proven experience leading large cross functional execution teams and industrial construction sites with more than 3000 workers.

+ Able to dive into project details when required.

+ Proven experience executing projects in green field and brown field conditions. Has executed mega projects from start through to commissioning.

+ Have worked in industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Petrochemical, Manufacturing.

+ Extensive site-based, multi-discipline construction leadership experience working on large-scale EPCM and EPC projects is required.

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred

+ Strong communication skills at senior level (Writing & Verbal)
