Sr. Manager Technical Product Management - AI Control Tower

**Job Description Summary**

The Sr. Manager TPM - AI Control Tower is responsible for product ownership of the AI Control Tower backlog, intake pipeline, prioritization, and governance model. This role leads stakeholder engagement across the product ecosystem to ensure the highest-priority and most impactful work is identified, sequenced, and managed effectively. The role is accountable for defining product operating mechanisms, maintaining a clear prioritization framework, and driving alignment across business and technical stakeholders.

This is a people leader role for a strong technical product manager who can combine product thinking, execution discipline, and team leadership. The ideal candidate can translate business needs into a well-governed product backlog, establish clear decision processes, and lead a team responsible for intake, prioritization, and delivery coordination. This role is expected to bring structure and transparency to a complex portfolio while driving measurable impact through the AI Control Tower.

**Job Description**

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Own the product backlog for the AI Control Tower and ensure it reflects the highest-value business and technical priorities.

+ Lead the intake pipeline for control tower requests and ensure work is evaluated, prioritized, and governed appropriately.

+ Define and maintain product management processes for backlog health, prioritization, governance, and stakeholder alignment.

+ Partner with business, technical, and functional stakeholders to gather needs, clarify requirements, and sequence work effectively.

+ Establish clear criteria for prioritization based on business value, strategic alignment, urgency, technical feasibility, and resource considerations.

+ Drive product governance forums and operating cadences to support transparent decision-making and timely issue resolution.

+ Ensure visibility to backlog status, product decisions, pipeline health, and execution risks.

+ Lead cross-functional alignment on scope, dependencies, tradeoffs, and release priorities.

+ Identify opportunities to improve product flow, backlog quality, and overall control tower effectiveness.

+ Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to support execution of prioritized work.

+ Use data, stakeholder feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve the product and its supporting processes.

+ Apply lean and FLIGHT DECK principles to standardize team operating mechanisms and improve execution.

**People Leadership Responsibilities**

+ Lead and develop a team supporting product intake, backlog management, prioritization, governance, and delivery coordination.

+ Set clear goals, responsibilities, and expectations for the team.

+ Coach team members on product management discipline, stakeholder engagement, and execution rigor.

+ Build a strong team culture centered on accountability, responsiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

+ Ensure effective workload balancing, prioritization, and development opportunities across the team.

+ Drive talent development, performance management, and ongoing capability building.

+ Foster a customer-focused and outcome-driven approach across the team.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of6years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of9years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of11years of professional experience

+ Minimum 3 years of professional experience intechnical product management, product ownership, program management, or portfolio leadership.

+ ​Experience leading product backlog management, intake, prioritization, and governance processes.

+ Experience working across business and technical stakeholders to translate needs into structured product plans and priorities.

+ Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Experience supporting AI, digital, software, data, or technology products.

+ Experience in technical product management for internal platforms, workflow tools, or enterprise systems.

+ Experience building and running governance models for demand intake, prioritization, and portfolio visibility.

+ Experience facilitating cross-functional prioritization discussions with senior stakeholders.

+ Familiarity with agile, lean, or product operating models.

+ Experience using product, project, or portfolio management tools to manage backlog health and execution visibility.

+ Experience defining metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to evaluate product performance and flow.

+ Experience applying structured Problem Solving to remove bottlenecks and improve product delivery processes.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong communication, organizational, and execution skills.

+ Proven ability to influence across functions and drive alignment on priorities and tradeoffs.

+ Experience leading teams and developing talent in a people leader capacity.

+ Ability to use data and business context to support prioritization and product decisions.

+ Working knowledge of FLIGHT DECK and the ability to apply lean principles to product and operating rhythms.

+ Familiarity with core FLIGHT DECK fundamentals, including Standard Work, Daily and Visual Management, Operating Cadences, Action Planning, and Problem Solving.

+ Ability to support work aligned to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost priorities.

**Additional Information:**

The base pay range for this position is $131,000- $150,000 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 24th, 2026.
