**Work Type:** Restricted Part Time (Total FTE less than 0.5)
**Shift:** **Shift 1**
**Work Schedule:** 4 Hr (9:00:00 AM - 1:00:00 PM)
**General Summary:**
Under supervision conducts histopathology interpretation and analyses.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**
1. Observe and assist in histopathology lab procedures, e.g., sectioning of post-mortem brain tissues, special staining, and immunohistochemistry.
2. Observe and assist in basic microscopy, digital image analysis, and data acquisition
3. Learn general lab procedures
4. Generate data summaries
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
1. Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills, decision-making skills, ability to exercise good judgement and work in a team.
2. Computer proficiency
3. Some High school required
