**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
The Perfusion Coordinator leads and manages the Cardiovascular Perfusion Service, ensuring quality and efficiency. This role reports to the Vice President of Surgical Services.
Key responsibilities include:
+ **Direction & Policy:** Setting the department's vision, developing policies, and ensuring clear communication.
+ **Planning & Scheduling:** Implementing perfusion scheduling and defining staff qualifications.
+ **Budget & Strategy:** Recommending the annual budget and integrating perfusion services into hospital-wide strategic plans.
+ **ECMO Support:** Assisting with the ECMO program's planning, staffing, and quality.
+ **Standards & Procedures:** Ensuring compliance with industry standards (AmSECT) and creating departmental policies.
+ **Resource Management:** Managing equipment and supply inventories for patient, perfusion, and physician needs.
This role oversees all aspects of the perfusion service, ensuring its smooth operation and alignment with hospital goals.
**Job Requirements**
Completion of an accredited or approved perfusion program.
Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. BLS. Licensed Perfusionist in the State of TN.

**Pay Range**
$65.94 - $98.09 /hour
