**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and campus activity, verify authorized entry when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Work collaboratively with campus personnel, local law enforcement, and/or emergency responders during routine operations and elevated situations while maintaining a professional presence.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ An armed guard card/license is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
