Allied Universal® Technology Services is hiring a Security Installation Technician II to perform installations of electronic security systems, work independently and along with other technicians, to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all installations.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Install, program and configure electronic security systems for commercial clients, including, door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, and other security systems
+ Troubleshoot, evaluate, diagnose, integrate new and existing installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and meets industry standards
+ Run electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs
+ Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installation
**QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a company issued vehicle
+ Minimum of two (2) years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, low voltage communication systems, including installing devices, troubleshooting, programming and running medium to large projects
+ Military veterans are encouraged to apply, especially those with experience as an electronics technician or aviation technician
+ Ability to obtain and maintain required state-specific licenses; willingness to work on-call, respond to emergency service requests, and travel overnight as needed
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to efficiently navigate multiple systems, with strong interpersonal and communication skills for clear documentation and reporting
+ Highly skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems, proficient with hand and power tools, and able to work independently or collaboratively to complete tasks and meet deadlines
+ Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and work at various ladder heights
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):**
+ Experience in the electronic security industry
+ Experience with any of the following: Software House, CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacqvision, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI
