The Principal Cybersecurity role is charged with the comprehensive review and analysis of security requirements pertaining to cloud applications, services, and platforms. This position collaborates with senior team members to formulate and implement integrated strategies aimed at safeguarding corporate assets and information technology. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating the overall security risk associated with systems, platforms, and applications, as well as for prioritizing and leading initiatives to mitigate AT&T’s aggregate security risk. Additionally, the role demands exceptional proficiency in content creation, communication, and organizational skills, coupled with a strong executive presence to effectively oversee and manage complex, large-scale cybersecurity projects and initiatives.

**Desired Skills & Experience:**

• Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Computers, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.

• 8-10 years of experience in IT security with emphasis on cloud platforms and technologies

• Knowledge in application security standards and process.

• Knowledge in identity and access management

• Knowledge of encryption technologies

• Knowledge in network architecture and infrastructure components

• Knowledge in business continuity and disaster recovery (planning, etc.)

• Public Cloud Azure and AWS (Certifications)

• Network and Internet Security, Network Architecture

• Technical Project Management, Quality Assurance and Testing, Technical Excellence, Technology Architecture, Vulnerability Assessment.

• Extensive experience conducting Security Assessments, Development of mitigating security controls

• Self-motivated and results oriented. Ability to engage across cross-functional boundaries with a sense of urgency for problem resolution.

• Security Operations and Incident Response experience

**Education/Experience:**

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science or Cybersecurity. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

**Supervisor:**

Our Principal Cybersecurity earns between $141,300-$211,900.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
