**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Lead Systems Engineer** to join our team in **Chantilly, VA.** The position is **onsite.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Providing Tier III IT Systems support on a wide range of technologies, including: Microsoft Server; Microsoft Server based Applications such as Exchange, SQL, IIS, Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies; Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems; Secure Printing technologies; VMware vCenter; and Horizon View

+ Diagnosing and resolving the performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed above

+ Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accomplish repetitive tasks

+ Participating in processes throughout all phases of the ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests

+ Performing requirements analysis, requirements gathering, and integration for all platforms listed above

+ Leading a team of experienced Systems Engineers and providing direction and guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers

+ Investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering teams and technical personnel

+ Working on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer’s production IT environment

+ Up to 10% local travel

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of IT or related experience

+ Must possess demonstrated leadership experience, including supervision of staff, and accountability for team deliverables

+ DoD 8570 IAT Level III/8140 level expert Certification required, ex., SecurityX, CASP+, CISSP

+ DoD 8570 computing environment certification required within 6 months of hire, ex., AZ-802, VCP, or equivalent

+ Experience with Microsoft Windows 2016/2019/2022/2025 Servers; Microsoft Windows 10; ad ministering Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and workstation and server hardware; administering Microsoft Office 2010/2016; administering DNS, Group Policy, and PKI; administering vSphere or Horizon View, data backup, and antivirus software; basic networking including DHCP/TCPIP; experience with deploying workstation images; and experience with thin and/or zero clients

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Systems, HP SANs, or VMware products

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Proficient with Microsoft Windows systems, including DNS, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange on-prem, and Microsoft SQL server

+ Working knowledge of applying security best practices from DISA and/or vendors

+ Basic systems infrastructure and hardware experience

+ Basic networking experience

+ Experience with deploying workstations and Thin/Zero clients

+ Scripting experience or willingness to learn

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must have a current or active Top Secret clearance and be open to a polygraph

**Physical Requirements:**

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
