**Job Description:**

Software Applications Architect

**Required Qualifications**

**Education** : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 5-7 years of experience; or a minimum of 10 years combined Intelligence Community (IC) experience in lieu of degree

**Security clearance level** : Active TS/SCI with poly

**Required Experience** : 5-7 years of professional software engineering experience, including demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale application architectures. Experience in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, automation). Proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, cloud platforms, containerization).

**Specific knowledge, skills and expertise required** **include:**

• Thorough knowledge of business missions and IT solutions, understanding of Agile Development Methods, and knowledge of customer service principles.

• Expert knowledge in systems design, development, interconnectivity, problem analysis, and programming techniques. Understanding of infrastructure architectures and their implications on application design.

• Skills in determining system functionality, analyzing complex problems, and identifying measures for system performance improvement.

• Skills in generating or adapting technology to user needs and maintaining currency on tools and methodologies.

• Ability to provide an enterprise-wide perspective, translate technical knowledge into application design, and develop data management policies.

• Ability to ensure data integrity, eliminate data incompatibilities, and project database resource requirements.

• Ability to develop and present complex technical information to various audiences.

**Desired Qualifications**

5-7 years in data engineering/BI/analytics roles, including demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise data architectures (data warehouse/lake/lakehouse).

The likely salary range for this position is $195,240 - $264,148. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
