Program Manager II

**Job Description**

The BAE Systems Navigation and Sensor Systems (NSS) team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the design, development, and implementation of our next generation of GPS/GNSS receivers. The successful candidate will act as the overall Program Manager for the program and will direct the efforts of cross-competency teams. The Program Manager will also serve as the primary liaison and POC with Government representatives on technical and project issues. The ideal Program Manager should have a strong understanding of GPS/GNSS receivers, possess a strategic mindset, have strong leadership skills, and be able to adapt to emerging and dynamic requirements.

In this job, you will:

+ Direct all phases of program execution and performance

+ Manage program cost, schedule, and technical objectives

+ Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, manufacturing, and administrative staff

+ Serve as the primary interface with the customer, leading program reviews, and resolving complex issues

+ Establish and manage program milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans

+ Use earned value management principles

+ Drive new business opportunities and support proposal development

+ Support contract negotiations, changes, and execution of all program terms and deliverables

+ Possess 7 years experience of managing projects as a Program Manager or Project Engineering Manager

+ Manage Integrated Master Schedules, project budget management, and deliverables

+ Possess strong leadership and organizational skills

+ Possess strong communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of BAE Systems senior management regarding program performance status

+ Have knowledge of software development and requirements management

+ Possess working knowledge of GPS/GNSS receivers

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder

+ Current security clearance or capable of obtaining a security clearance

+ Project Management or Project Engineering Management experience

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $133333 - $226667

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
