The Role: In this role, you will:
+ Be responsible for creating and maintaining component data
+ Work with a variety of components and materials used in GPS Products
+ Provide technical leadership to Design Engineers, Purchasing, Quality & Program Managers to resolve component issues regarding obsolescence, technical changes, part shortages or failures
+ Perform BOM Analysis on new designs
+ Provide technical support in the resolution of complex commodity issues in a design and manufacturing environment
+ Create and update documentation needed to support Program requirements

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Must have a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline and 2 years of direct related experience
+ Knowledge of components used in the Electronics Industry
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to work on a cross-functional team
+ US Citizen
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Candidates with Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
+ Past experience as a Component or Application Engineer
+ Experience with creating part specifications
+ Familiar with industry standards (IPC, ASTM, JEDEC)
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
