**The Role**
The Lead Operations Analyst is responsible for driving the design, development, and continuous improvement of Engineering & Construction (E&C) processes. This role partners closely with Engineering, Construction, Program Management, and Operations Excellence teams to translate business objectives into standardized, scalable, and efficient operational processes. The position serves as a subject-matter expert for process definition, documentation, performance measurement, and cross-functional enablement in support of network deployment and infrastructure initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
**Process Development & Standardization**
+ Lead the end-to-end development and optimization of Engineering & Construction processes, workflows, and standards.
+ Analyze current-state E&C processes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities across planning, design, construction, and closeout phases.
+ Develop future-state process models that improve cycle time, quality, cost, and compliance.
+ Define and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, playbooks, job aids, and governance artifacts.
**Cross-Functional Partnership**
+ Partner with Engineering, Construction, Field Operations, Program Management, and Systems teams to align processes with business strategy and operational requirements.
+ Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and design reviews to drive consensus on process changes and new implementations.
+ Act as a liaison between business teams and technical/system owners to ensure processes are accurately reflected in tools and workflows.
**Performance Measurement & Insights**
+ Define process KPIs, success metrics, and control points for Engineering & Construction operations.
+ Analyze performance data, trends, and root causes to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
+ Support reporting and executive-level summaries related to process performance, risks, and improvements.
**Change Management & Enablement**
+ Support change management activities associated with new or changed E&C processes, including communications, training, and adoption tracking.
+ Develop training materials and support field and office teams during process rollouts.
+ Serve as a process subject-matter expert for audits, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Governance & Continuous Improvement**
+ Establish and support process governance models to ensure standardization, compliance, and controlled evolution of E&C processes.
+ Monitor adherence to defined processes and recommend corrective actions where needed.
+ Identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities leveraging Lean, operational excellence, or data-driven methodologies.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or business analysis roles.
+ Experience supporting Engineering, Construction, Network Deployment, or Field Operations organizations.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable documentation.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.

+ Experience in Engineering & Construction environments (network, infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale build programs).
+ Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar).
+ Experience supporting operational or technical systems (workflow, project management, or reporting tools).
+ Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

**Compensation**
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
**Location Based Pay Ranges** : $65,000-$108,000 Annually
**Work Environment**
+ Remote role with regular collaboration across Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams.
+ May support multiple programs or initiatives simultaneously, requiring strong prioritization and communication.
