Job Description

The Carpenter is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis.

+ Keep the hotel decor in good condition.

+ Clean all work areas after completing job.

+ Fill out Daily Work form.

+ Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.

+ Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.

+ Property Capital improvements

+ Maintain all public areas and guestrooms on an on-going basis (corner guards, locks, windows, doors, furniture.)

+ Complete Work requests in Synergy daily.

+ Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.

+ Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.

+ Answer all guest and associate related Synergy requests

+ Assist with Capital improvement projects.

+ Property improvement projects

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Structured schedules offered, with availability to be on call after hours

+ Fulltime, part time, and on call positions available
