As a **Security Officer Screening Agent** in **Carol Stream, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, conduct screening procedures, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to identify concerns, remain visible throughout assigned areas, and contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

+ Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols, reporting unusual activity or prohibited items through proper channels.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and supporting security-related investigations as needed.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipment documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting conditions, assisting with security-related concerns, and communicating issues to site leadership.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
