As a Patient Dining Associate, you will provide direct meal service to patients and visitors. Dietary is a positive part of the patient's day. **A caregiver in this position works evenings from 12:00PM - 8:30PM or 1:00PM - 9:30PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Assist with food preparation, loading, heating, tray assembly and sanitation.
+ Provide food service delivery of menus and trays to patients and visitors.
+ Maintain inventory to ensure the work area is stocked with adequate and acceptable food and supplies.
+ Ensure quality in patient and visitor meal service by visiting patients after every meal delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and responding to concerns.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ One year of experience in a customer service environment
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Food service experience
+ Ohio Food Safety certification
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
+ Ability to reach with hands and arms.
+ Ability to talk and hear.
+ Frequently required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
+ Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
+ Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus also required.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
**Pay Range**
Minimum hourly: $15.00
Maximum hourly: $18.44
