General Labor

The Advance Group has partnered with a Canton, MI company that specializes in building packing material.

Responsibilities of General Laborer:

  • Building wood crates and pallets
  • Use of various hand tools: Drills, nail gun, staple gun
  • Operate various hand saws to cut wooden parts

Requirements for General Laborer:

  • Able to work in fast pace environment
  • Previous experience with hand tools
  • Should be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Previous experience in a woodshop or with wood cutting preferred 

Hours for General Laborer:

  • Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Must be available to work Saturdays

Compensation and Benefits of the General Laborer:

  • Starting pay is $17.25hr
  • This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate
