**Minimum qualifications:**

+ 2 years of experience in mobile application development, including writing, debugging, and deploying code using Java or Kotlin.

+ Experience in front-end and user interface (UI) development.

+ Experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues in user-facing applications.

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.

+ Experience in Android platform or mobile application development.

+ Experience in translating high-fidelity design mockups and prototypes into functional user interfaces using front-end web technologies.

As a UI Specialist, you’ll join a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative group of engineers who care deeply about craft and user experience. You’ll help define how Android feels. You’ll work with bleeding-edge visual patterns, experiment with animations and shaders, and help shape the next chapter of Android’s interface evolution.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

**Responsibilities**

+ Build beautiful, performant, and accessible UIs using Java and Kotlin, including crafting custom views, animations, and visual effects.

+ Collaborate with UX to prototype, iterate, and refine interaction designs.

+ Own and drive independent projects from initial concept through to production.

+ Implement new framework-level APIs and maintain code quality through testing, documentation, and refactoring.
