**Job Description**
The selected candidate will perform a variety of receiving related duties in support of various customers and internal project managers, including:
- Opening containers to process arriving material.
- Comparing receiving documentation against ordering data and material being received.
- Processing receipt data in logistical database.
- Maintaining files and records of receipt.
- Completing paperwork on non-conforming material (wrong size, damaged, wrong quantity, etc).
- Contacting vendors on shortages, discrepancies and damages for incoming company purchases.
The incumbent will be expected to coordinate with all facets of BAE Systems, C5ISR Solutions; (engineering, production, testing, administration and project management, as well as outside entities, such as government agencies, commands, Original Equipment Manufacturers, etc.
The hourly rate for this position is set by the Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $18.94/hr.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
- High School diploma and at least 1 year of experience
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Ability to use hand tools to open crates and other packaging
- Strong math skills for figuring cost at receipt
- Working knowledge of MS Word

- Experience working in a receiving department
**Pay Information**
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
