**Job Description:**

**Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm / Sunday-Thursday every other week**

+ Will manage 75 - 100 direct reports (float pool nurses)

+ Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence-based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies.

+ Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes.

+ Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery.

+ Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient-centered care.

+ Demonstrates professionalism, supports ongoing education and development, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies.

+ Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient focused care.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

**• Computer literacy is required. [Required] - Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word**

• Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques which are central to the nursing profession and is normally acquired through completion of a BSN and/or MSN program. [Required]

**Education:**

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

**Work Experience:**

• 1+ management of charge nurse experience [Required]

• 2+ acute care experience [Required]

**Licenses and Certifications:**

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
