SCOPE OF POSITION
Special Procedure Technologists work under the direct supervision of the supervisor, Administrative Personnel and Radiologist. Special Procedures Technologists are to be able to perform all routine examinations as necessary in the daily operational objectives of the Diagnostic Imaging Department as set forth by hospital guidelines and policies, the Diagnostic Imaging medical staff and administrative personnel as they relate to Interventional Radiology. These may include but not limited to MRI, C.T., Angiography, Ultrasound/Vascular, Nuclear Medicine and Mammography.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Successful completion of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. One year experience in Diagnostic Radiology required.
Valid and active ARRT certification
Advanced certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiology preferred
CPR required
