The Advance Group has partnered with a health and nutrition supplier in Blissfield MI looking for packagers!

Responsibilities of Packager:

Reads, understands and interprets Batch Sheets and Fill Tickets to precise specifications.
Identifies, weighs and mixes raw ingredients for batching.
Makes tablets and/or chews using appropriate manufacturing presses and equipment.
Packages finished products as required.
Labels products.
Puts lot numbers and “best by” dates on bottles (called Spraying) using an ink jet printer.
Cleans and sterilizes the processing equipment and area.
Checks to ensure the quality of products before, during and after the manufacturing process.
Maintains a clean and safe work area.
Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Responsible to report any and all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate
action.
Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
Performs or assists with other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements for Packager:

Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs as needed.
Ability to stand for duration of shift.
Occasional bending and/or stooping required.
Ability to perform simple math, including percentages.
Follow LOTO procedures, safety rules, and company policies.
Perform daily cleaning of equipment and work area with required sign-offs.
Flexible schedule and location availability.

Hours for Packager:

Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Overtime on Fridays as needed (6–8 hours based on demand; never 3 Fridays in a row)

Compensation and Benefits for the Packager:

Starting pay is $16/hr
Pay increase and benefits upon hire
