Job Summary:

Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures using required ACR standards.
Assists the Radiologist with invasive procedures when required.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound image acquisition.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of EPIC and PACS workflow.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

-Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

-Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain certification

-Current ARDMS and CPR certification

-At least two years as a diagnostic technologist

-Strong prioritization and triage skills are necessary to maintain a smooth workflow

-Proficiency in scanning general, vascular, upper and lower extremity venous Doppler, as well as some pediatric exams, is also required.

Shift: The PRN shift schedule is flexible and can be adjusted according to department needs. Weekend work is also required.
