JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the high level design and integration for International B2B portal and backend ERP systems. Effectively partners with product manager, project managers and application developers in defining business processes, writing functional specifications and ensuring that the solution meets needs of business by performing thorough validations. Demonstrates passion for strengthening and enhancing business results via software solutions.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**System Design, Validation and Implementation**
• Transforms requirements into software design
• Leads in producing deliverables including database layouts; application modules; and user interface mock-ups
• Documents functional design specifications and communicates with software developers/programmers
• Leads team to resolve questions and issues during development cycle
• Defines test cases and scripts
• Performs system testing and leads user acceptance testing and end to end test cycle
• Executes implementation tasks and ensures successful go-live
• Coordinates with developers to identify and implement the performance and stability improvements
• Supports QA automation team in terms of identifying opportunities, prioritization and test result validation
• Performs the configurations/set ups in the application.
**Gathering Requirements and Analysis**
• Analyzes current and future state business processes
• Evaluates alternatives and defines a recommended system approach
• Leads in producing deliverables including business process flows; use cases; and storyboards
• Facilitates project and administrative meetings
• Responsible for ensuring that the systems meet needs of the business through user acceptance testing
• Ensures compliance with SOX
• Supports Product Owner and manager in defining product roadmaps, quarterly plans and in release planning.
**System and User Support**
• Provides application support to INTL Ordering portal users
• Troubleshoots production issues and provides resolution
• Understands technology and systems infrastructure
• Completes minor software programming modifications and configurations
• Manage any portal content changes
•Trains users on system processes and changes and create any related training material
• Performs other duties as assigned that support overall objective of the position
**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
**Required**
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Design, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a .NET/Optimizely B2B or equivalent portal Analyst role performing system analysis and writing functional specifications
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple project assignments
• Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to effectively communicate with non-technical audience.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to lead the team and junior analysts & ability to support release planning as needed
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodology
• Strong understanding of APIs and different integrations and ability to support design and their implementation.
• Ability to perform unit, system end to end, user acceptance, regression and performance testing.
**Preferred**
+ Microsoft Azure Experience
+ Ability and desire to span SA, QA and Developer roles as needed are highly valued!
+ Experience in: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL Server 2008+, Web Services, React JS, GIT Workflow, TDS, continuous integration
+ Other software experience (Dynamics D365 F & O/equivalent ERP systems), Optimizely B2B Configured commerce
+ Experience in integrating the portal preferably with MS D365 FO through headless commerce engine likely CSU.
+ Experienced with marketing, sales, service and manufacturing business processes
+ Experience building APIs
