We are expanding and looking for experienced Technical Program Managers (TPM) who will play a key role in defining and driving highly complex, cross-functional programs. Our focuses are shifting expensive workflows to continuous integration and deployment of code to our customers and applying AI technology into developer tooling and testing pipelines.The RLDI TPM team is experienced, and we're looking for someone who is excited about infrastructure and strategy and wants to be involved technically.
**Required Skills:**
Technical Program Manager, RL Developer Infrastructure Responsibilities:
1. Drive cross-organization and portfolio partners to own and execute several large-scale workstreams to meet goals, building partnerships with managers and engineers across infrastructure and product teams
2. Collaborate on AI Initiatives by working closely with developers, data scientists and product teams to deliver scalable AI features and platforms
3. Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas using AI solutions: Initiate and manage programs that require handling multiple cross-organizational or cross-company interdependencies,
4. Monitor and report on program progress: Ensure high-quality software delivery by balancing speed, testing, and capacity, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks
5. Drive execution of roadmap, dependencies, evolution, and develop a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet the requirements across multiple products
6. Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple organizations and influence strategic direction impacting long term plans for critical infrastructure challenges in collaboration with engineering leaders and stakeholders
7. Resolve conflicts, maintain clarity on priorities and drive progress on execution
8. Effective at resolving intra organization issues and escalating / driving solutions to cross-organization issues, with a focus on leveraging software development and deployment best practices and adapting them for hardware and software use cases
9. Drive technical expertise within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, and launch criteria
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
**Minimum Qualifications:**

11. 7+ years of relevant experience: Experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management, with a focus on AI technology, CI/CD processes and/ or high-quality system development
12. B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
13. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale developer environment systems

14. Experience in AI cluster development, including expertise across compute, storage, networking, and other critical infrastructure components, driving scalable and efficient solutions
15. Experience collaborating with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) partners to drive product development and ensure quality standards
16. Background in one or more of the following areas: computer architecture, system performance optimization, generative AI, and large distributed systems, with a proven understanding of how these technologies integrate to drive efficient, scalable solutions
17. Proven communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
18. Proven experience working within secure software development practices , software release processes, and product lifecycle frameworks
19. Experience in leading complex execution across multiple teams in different time zones, anticipating roadblocks and creating a path forward
**Public Compensation:**
$168,000/year to $234,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
