**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

**Expectations:**

+ Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.

+ Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.

+ Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.

+ Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.

+ Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

**Job Requirements**

**Required:**

+ Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

+ Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

**Pay Range**

$18.06 - $25.51 /hour
