You Are:
A seasoned SAP data migration leader who thinks in blueprints and delivers at scale. You have the architectural vision to design enterprise-grade migration strategies and the hands-on depth to back it up. Whether you're defining migration frameworks for a global S/4HANA greenfield, leading complex brownfield conversions, or overseeing multi-wave data cutovers across heterogeneous landscapes, you bring the technical authority and executive presence to drive success. You are a trusted advisor to client leadership and a force multiplier for delivery teams—equally comfortable whiteboarding migration architecture and rolling up your sleeves to solve a stubborn data quality issue.
The Work:
+ Architect end-to-end SAP data migration strategies for S/4HANA transformation programs, including greenfield, brownfield, and selective data transition (SDT) scenarios.
+ Define migration methodology, tooling selection, and governance frameworks across large-scale, multi-wave data migration programs.
+ Lead the design of data migration objects, business rules, transformation logic, and cutover sequencing across functional domains (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).
+ Oversee and mentor a team of data migration consultants and developers, ensuring quality and consistency across workstreams.
+ Drive engagement with client data owners, functional leads, and IT stakeholders to align on data quality standards, cleansing strategies, and sign-off processes.
+ Govern data migration tool configuration and usage (SAP LTMC/LTMOM, BODS, SLT, Syniti, or equivalent) and ensure adherence to migration architecture standards.
+ Lead migration rehearsals, mock cutovers, and go-live execution, including risk identification and real-time issue resolution.
+ Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and practice-building activities including methodology development and capability uplift.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's What You Need:
+ A minimum of 7 years of SAP experience with at least 5 years in a lead data migration architect or data migration program lead role.
+ A minimum of 4 full end-to-end SAP data migration implementations, with at least 2 involving S/4HANA (greenfield or brownfield/system conversion).
+ A minimum of 3 years of experience leading or architecting migrations using SAP-native tooling such as LTMC/LTMOM, SAP BODS, SAP SLT, or comparable enterprise migration platforms.
+ A minimum of 5 years of experience managing cross-functional delivery teams in a program or workstream lead capacity.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an Associate's Degree, then 6 years of work experience required).
Bonus Points If:
+ You have a SAP Certified Professional in SAP S/4HANA System Conversion or Migration, or equivalent SAP certification.
+ You have experience with Syniti Data Replication, SNP CrystalBridge, or Natuvion DPP for complex landscape transformation scenarios.
+ You have familiarity with data governance and master data management (MDM) frameworks (SAP MDG or equivalent) in the context of migration programs.
+ You have exposure to cloud migration scenarios involving SAP on AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure.
+ You have prior consulting experience at a Big 4, global systems integrator, or SAP Partner organization.
