**Shift:** Varies

**Schedule:** PRN | Every Other Weekend

**Status:** Non-Exempt

**Role Overview**

As a **Clinical Laboratory Scientist I** , you will perform essential diagnostic testing and quality control procedures supporting accurate and timely patient results. This role includes moderate‑ to high‑complexity testing, maintaining laboratory systems and equipment, prepping reagents, and contributing to a smooth, efficient laboratory workflow.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

+ Prepare reagents and accurately report laboratory results

+ Review and oversee moderate‑ to high‑complexity testing

+ Monitor and maintain laboratory computer applications

+ Maintain equipment, instruments, and supply inventory

+ Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards

+ Work collaboratively within the laboratory and across clinical teams

+ Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education – Required**

+ Associate’s degree in Medical Technology **or** related scientific field

**Education – Preferred**

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field

**Certification & Licensure – Required**

+ State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

**Experience – Required**

+ Clinical laboratory experience

+ Minimum of four (4) months of experience performing laboratory testing
