Ferguson is currently seeking a Buyer Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate is an energetic and highly motivated individual who takes an optimistic approach to new challenges and embraces the Company's strategic vision; a person that thrives when working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative team environment to effectively lead and drive process improvements.

**Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am, to 5pm**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Placing purchase orders, expediting shipments, and providing customer service functions

+ Compilation and maintenance of information and records to prepare Purchase Orders

+ Contact vendors and suppliers for quotations and maintain relationships

+ Reconciliation of payable discrepancies and customer problems

+ Handle freight billing and audit processes

+ Research specifications of products not clearly identified

+ Enter and edit purchase orders and blanket order releases

+ Ensure product file integrity

**Qualifications**

+ Strong customer service skills

+ 3-5 year’s Experience of buying in manufacturing

+ Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills, and above average math skills

+ Ability to handle pressure and work optimally within deadlines

+ Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Computer Science, Communications) preferred, equivalent experience will be considered

**Pay Range:**

$16.88 - $36.49

**_Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles_** **OR** **_Hourly for all other roles._**

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
