**How you’ll make an impact in this role**

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by the full resources of a robust health system network.

+ Join an established team of 6 physicians and 18 APPs

+ Practice setting: Inpatient general surgery

+ Access to advanced surgical technology (robotics experience preferred) and robust system resources

+ Employed position within a nonprofit health system

+ Deliver comprehensive patient care by conducting thorough assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, and managing treatment plans under physician supervision to drive optimal health outcomes.

+ Empower patients and families by providing high-touch education on treatment options, preventative health, and community resources to support long-term wellness.

+ Maintain precise health records through meticulous documentation of care journeys to protect patient safety and maintain seamless care continuity.

+ Board Certification required

+ Eligible for Maryland state medical licensure and DEA registration required

**What minimum requirements you’ll need**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

+ Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

+ Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

+ 1 year of experience preferred.
