Director, Pharmacy Operations

We are seeking a Director of Pharmacy Operations for Johns Hopkins Care at Home. The Director of Operations provides strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for community, infusion, and centralized pharmacy services. The Director leads operational and clinical initiatives aligned with organizational priorities and provides oversight for the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations, Assistant Director of Infusion Pharmacy, Assistant Director of Centralized Services, Pharmacy Operations Business Manager, and Clinical Programs Manager. This role is accountable for achieving departmental objectives related to quality, financial performance, operational effectiveness, and patient experience. 

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate Pharmacist licensed to practice in the state in which practice is located
  • Post-graduate education in business or healthcare administration (e.g., Masters of Business Administration, or Masters of Healthcare Administration) preferred
  • Completion of a Health System Pharmacy Administration Residency, or similar experience preferred
  • Licensed pharmacist, in good standing, with the appropriate State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Active CPR card
  • Seven or more years experience managing pharmacy services in a health system preferred, with a concentration of responsibilities for community and/or specialty pharmacy services

Salary Range: Minimum $186,519.00/annually - Maximum $218,718.00/annually. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
