**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

+ Assessment and Patient Care

+ Provides necessary assessment , intervention and evaluation for Cath Lab patients, Uses multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

+ Maintanis competence and functions independently with more complex treatments, procedures, and medical equipment such as set up and troubleshooting of IABP, Hemodynamic monitoring, Administration of Aniti-thrombolytic therapy, ECG monitors, cardiopulmonary arrest, perform activated clotting times (ACTs).

+ Act quickly and appropriately in life-threatening emergency situations.

+ Willingly participates and adheres to NPSG and The Joint Commission core measures to ensure safe patient care.

+ Holding room, Receives patients from nursing units and outside hospitals, Assesses pre-procedure needs and institues appropriate nursing care, provides post-procedure care following physician orders, directs transfer of post-procedure patients to appropriate nursing unit.

**Job Requirements**

Required

+ High School Graduate Education level necessary to obtainrequired licensure and certifications Experience in Critical Care or EmergencyNursing required., upon hire or

+ Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and

+ Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Preferred

+ Previous Cath Lab experience, upon hire

**Pay Range**

$45.55 - $79.04 /hour
