**Job Summary:** _The Production Controller will report to the Sr. Manager of Distribution and work closely with distribution department managers to establish and coordinate production plans throughout the distribution center. The Production Controller will lead daily performance reviews, collaborate with departmental Team Leaders to dictate staffing moves, set departmental production levels, and prioritize workload throughout the DC to guarantee on time customer order fulfillment. The Production Controller will also have accountability for performance to site level Safety, Quality, Financial, and Service KPIs._
**Job Duties:**
+ Reports to Sr. Manager of Distribution
+ Lead daily plant management performance review meetings.
+ Communicate production updates to Managers on a regular basis.
+ Lead the development and daily use of workload planning and staffing tools to drive labor efficiency.
+ Assist managers in production activity decisions to meet business and financial objectives.
+ Work with Managers to plan and coordinate production tasks to maximize performance to KPIs.
+ Assist Managers in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality and safety standards.
+ Review forecasted production plans to identify and report potential risks to Managers.
+ Assist in processing customer orders or supporting Team Leader activities when necessary.
+ Track incoming workload variation to plans and establish priorities to adjust production strategy as needed.
+ Monitor backlogs and established levels of service within each department to ensure continuous operations and avoid bottlenecks.
+ Work with cross-functional teams, internal and external to the DC, to ensure the DC is prepared to support the priorities and needs of the supply chain.
+ Ensures Compliance to the Quality Management System and participate in Internal, ISO, and FDA audits.
+ Work closely with Distribution Leadership to develop annual operating budget including operational productivity improvements and Continuous Improvement savings plans.
+ Assist plant management in operations improvement activities by identifying financial and quality opportunities for continuous improvement.
+ Supports the retention of a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback.
+ Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
+ Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
+ Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
+ At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain (strongly preferred) or a business-related field (e.g., Customer Care, Procurement, Operations, Production).
+ SAP or other MRP experience strongly preferred.
+ Strong computer skills with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel (preferred).
+ Execution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
+ Proven experience in driving innovation and continuous improvement.
+ Demonstrated ability to make value-added contributions in cross-functional project teams.
+ Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
+ Self-motivated, strong analytical thinking capability, proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Excellent internal and external customer focus
+ Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.
The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
