**How you’ll make an impact in this role**

+ Orchestrate the authorization lifecycle for cardiac hospital admissions and high-acuity procedures, ensuring all clinical documentation meets health plan requirements for timely approval.

+ Advocate for patient access and continuity of care by verifying eligibility and benefits, proactively resolving potential insurance hurdles before the patient arrives for treatment.

+ Master real-time financial documentation by meticulously recording authorizations and payer interactions within the patient account history to provide a transparent audit trail.

+ Lead denial mitigation and resolution by identifying potential coverage issues and collaborating with insurers to secure authorization, protecting the practice from revenue loss.

+ Synchronize hospital-wide communications by partnering with Case Management and clinical staff to provide updates on length-of-stay approvals and insurance-specific requirements.

**What minimum requirements you’ll need**

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

**What additional preferences we're seeking**

+ **Pre-Authorization Expertise:** Direct experience navigating the authorization requirements for procedures, hospital admissions, and diagnostic testing.

+ **Advanced Payer Portal & Eligibility Proficiency:** Proven ability to verify benefits and secure authorizations across a wide spectrum of public and private health plans with 100% accuracy.
