The iPhone Hardware Engineering team has an extraordinary opportunity for a passionate electrical engineer for the position of Hardware Engineer - System Technologies. This position is a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional lead engineering role encompassing different aspects of power conversion system designs.

**Description**
In this visible role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with, and provide architectural guidance to cross-functional engineering teams in defining and establishing system power architecture requirements for new products.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of experience, BS/MS in relevant field.
+ Must have strong EE fundamentals and problems solving skills.
+ Must have experience in power electronics related design and development, including DC-DC converters and LDOs, PMIC or PMU's.
+ Knowledge of power, analog and integrated circuit design fundamentals, process development, and analytical methodology for high-quality designs.
+ Experience in architecture design of complex power conversion systems or power management ICs.
+ Strong laboratory board-level testing, debugging and validation experience with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and signal generators.
+ Ability to employ scientific and systematic methods to troubleshoot and drive resolutions of multi-disciplinary system issues.
+ Experience in layout planning and routing strategies.
+ Ability to relate electrical performance to physical layout and system level solutions, including passive components and controls.
+ Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 7+years of experience. PhD a +, in relevant field.
+ Experience in taking projects from the conceptual phase through product ramp-up and mass production.
+ Knowledge and work experience of various integrated circuit process technologies, design flows, reliability, and other related topics.
+ Experience performing or guiding complex power distribution networks (PDN) design for sophisticated power conversion systems. Experience with PMIC or PMU's.
+ Knowledge and Hands-on experience in circuit and EM simulation tools, such as Cadence/Sigrity, ADS/Spice/Spectre, Ansys HFSS/Maxwell/SIWave, and CST.
