**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 10 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.

+ Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Advanced network certifications or equivalent level experience in one of the areas (CCIE/PCNSE/FCP).

+ Experience with enterprise Data center network design and operations in a global environment.

+ Experience with working in a multi-vendor security environment, advanced security concepts

+ Knowledge of networking technologies or protocols: VXLAN, BGP EVPN, MC-LAG, Encryption, key management, zone based network segmentation.

+ Knowledge of Linux.

+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and a focus on ownership and drive.

The Google Enterprise Network (GEN) Engineering team is responsible for designing the next generation network and software platforms that run Google’s day to day business.

As a Google Enterprise Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the network infrastructure design and features to keep our systems running smoothly. You will partner with the partners team, vendors team, network operations and deployment to ensure the designs and solutions are safe, secure, efficient and address our user's requirements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities**

+ Be responsible for development of solutions for Google's​ Enterprise network, executing qualification and​ validation through deployment, operation, and optimization​.

+ Architect systems sustainably through tools and automation,​ and evolve systems by driving change that improves​ reliability and velocity.

+ Work with other teams to analyze requirements or​potential problems and develop solutions and​ policy recommendations​.

+ Lead development of Google’s Enterprise Network​Infrastructure, security through published engineering design​ documents and specifications.

+ Lead the requirement​ analysis, engineering design, and solution development of​ Google’s enterprise network infrastructure.
