Electrical Engineer, Power Responsibilities:
1. Own electrical development of complex subsystems or moderately complex systems, under guidance from technical leads or managers
2. Lead schematic design, board layout, and cross-functional design reviews
3. Propose innovative solutions to enhance system or product performance, reliability, and features
4. Manage hardware bring-up, debugging, and support for manufacturing, assembly, or deployment
5. Evaluate vendor reference designs and adapt them to Meta’s requirements
6. Provide technical guidance and support to engineers

11. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
12. 6+ years of professional experience in electrical design, development, and validation or a relevant technical field
13. Demonstrated expertise in designing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems or subsystems
14. Proficiency in interpreting and creating electrical schematics, designing physical layouts (e.g., PCBs or panel/plant layouts), and/or performing hardware/system bring‑up and debug at the lab or field level
15. Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines and with external partners or vendors

16. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Power Electronics
17. 7+ years of relevant industry experience in power delivery validation and design of DC-DC voltage regulators (e.g. control schemes, power stage MOSFETs, magnetics and decoupling), hot-swap circuitry (e.g. controller ICs, MOSFET load switches, current sense amplifiers)
18. Experience with end-to-end power delivery network design, simulation (e.g. SIMPLIS, Sigrity PowerDC/SI, ANSYS SIWave or equivalent) and board level correlation
19. Experience with power integrity evaluation
20. Experience with design and troubleshooting of power management interfaces (e.g. PMBus, AVS, SVID and SVI2)
21. Experience with low voltage and high current power subsystems of CPU, GPU, SoC, ASIC and/or FPGA, and related schematic and PCB design
22. Familiar with power delivery architecture of one major CPU supplier
23. Familiar with defining specification and validation of power connectors, cable assemblies and fuses
24. Familiar with NPI hardware design and deployment cycle
25. Knowledge of using Linux for testing and automation/script development
26. Experience with development of test automation for power validation
